Phone: First of all, civil aviation has passed some general orders which estimate the Islamabad airport to be closed up to 22nd April 5am. These orders can change any time. But as it stands the orders are to keep the airport closed till 22nd April 5am because the fire service is not available. I’ll repeat that these are the current orders and they’re trying their best to open up the airport as early as possible.
Secondly, the aircraft that Bhoja airlines was using was a 737-200. It’s registration number was AP-BKC, AP stands for a Pakistani aircraft. The aircraft which crashed in Rawalpindi is obsolete. These aircraft are banned in Europe. The current models are 737-800 or 900. Another factor is that this aircraft was parked in Karachi for a long time. Prior to that it was used by Shaheen airlines for about 10 years after which this aircraft was grounded.
When Bhoja airlines started, they bought this aircraft and started to use it. This is about three months ago.
Now the first problem is that why did the civil aviation authority allow this aircraft off the ground? Does the flight standard department of civil aviation hire morons who allow a plane with different thrust ratings on both its engines to fly? That aircraft is not safe for flying.
This is a technical thing. Second point, when the thrusts in both engines do not match, they allowed it to fly. Fine, why didnt they look more into the thrust problem afterwards?
Now the civil aviation authority is claiming that this was due to bad weather in islamabad. The visibility there was 4km, wind was 30kt, clouds at 10,000ft. The mama cloud is considered to be the most dangerous cloud. Normally the pilots avoid that. They try to avert it. In this particular case the mama cloud was at 2,500ft. Instead of diverting this plane to Lahore, they tried to fly under it. Its just like flying under a huge downward pressure. When the plane flew under it, it got pushed down. The plane got trapped here instead of getting diverted to Lahore.
Now there are many questions raised. The thrust was not ok or equal, why was it operated? When its banned in Europe, why are we flying it? When the civil aviation authority hires morons who let these planes fly, play with lives. Do they have no technical knowledge? or are they ignoring it on purpose. Is it corruption that they are allowing these planes to fly on bribes by these airlines to play with these lives?
This is an important question. If we do not address this problem, the fear of air travel will not decrease. Now here is a new example we have.
What are we doing here? Europe has banned the plane, we’re still flying it. The thrust does not match, we still fly it. The mama cloud is a technical word for this cloud. It is dangerous and aircraft are advised to avoid it. Every pilot avoids it. Now these guys try to fly under it, that is an automatic push to the ground . You dont go under it, you get diverted, so it can go somewhere else. In this particular case this happened and we are facing it. A new inquiry will start and the report will never see the light of day and this will continue.

Mr. Rana: No, if the weather was a problem…..a 4km is an ideal visbility. Its an ideal weather for pilots. Winds at 30kt is also ideal weather, so is the clouds at 10,000ft.
The mama cloud’s at 2,500ft. You have to avoid it. It can pop up anywhere. It is a thumbrule for pilots to avoid it in any way. In this case, they shouldve diverted it to lahore instead of attempting a landing. This is my personal opinion. From my investigation with talking to pilots, they think that mama clouds should be avoided at all costs.

I always enjoy reading through discussion threads on the internet, particularly on a vocal communities like 4chan and Reddit. It is clear from the distribution of upvotes on Reddit and “LOL FAGET”ing on 4chan that a majority support the basic ideals of freedom of speech and more importantly, the freedom of sexual expression.
There is no value to attacking the sexual identity of someone, and even less merit to doing so over the internet. You don’t need to tell the subscribers of the Jailbait subreddit or the Anons on 4chan that you find them creepy. Look through the thousands of throwaway usernames on there and you’ll realize that most are already well aware of that. Some of them may in fact despise themselves for being turned on by pictures of pubescent girls, and find that self-hatred pouring out into their every day lives. These people don’t need our judgement, they need our acceptance and understanding.

I have talked with strangers about things they have never even told their wives or boyfriends. And yet the most heartbreaking thing time after time is to see the dissonance that exists between the person they really are and who they have to pretend to be. Pedophiles; they are many more than you know and a good majority would never lift a finger to hurt a child. Some even choosing to undertake extreme measures to prevent doing so. Zoophiles; some of whom have experienced deeper and more meaningful relationships with animals than the rest of us may ever experience in our lifetime, yet they may never be happy in society the way that most of us can easily be. Self-mutilators; some of whom can’t reach any form of sexual gratification without placing their lives or health in extreme danger. Is it fair that some of us get to masturbate to pictures of boobs and roll over to sleep, while others stay up all night, ostracized by implications and improbability of their sexuality?
The world can be a large and uncaring place. If a small community board somewhere on the internet allows people to come together and share with others like them in an open and judgement free environment, then I say let them. They have it hard enough as it is.
